Five Best Pizza Restaurants in Dublin

We've compiled a list of the top restaurants in Dublin for a bloody good slice of pizza.

PI Pizza

Wood-Fired Pizza Fundamentalist

PI Pizza is located in George Street, in the heart of Dublin city centre.
PI is, without any doubt, one of the best pizzerias in Dublin. They have a selection of 8 pizzas, all crafted to perfection. The pizza is fluffy yet crispy and straight out of the oven and onto the plate. The Nduja pizza is a must-have. The restaurant is walk-ins only, with no reservations. PI uses a queuing app so customers don't have to stand around waiting for a table to come free.

Castle House, 10, 73 - 83 South Great George's Street, Dublin

Paulie’s Pizza

Vera Pizza Napoletana

Located in Grand Canal Dock, Paulie’s Pizza is an excellent spot for Neapolitan-style wood-fired pizza. Pizzas are broken into either Italian New York or house creations style. All of the pizzas are so flavourful and fresh! Quattro Formaggi is our favourite as it contains four kinds of cheeses. The restaurant also serves various dishes like Marinated Tomato Bruschetta Antipasti and Fresh Pappardelle Pasta. The staff are highly attentive and hospitable. The restaurant is usually bustling, so advanced booking is recommended.

58 Grand Canal Street Upper, Dublin

Forno 500

True Authentic Neapolitan Pizza

You can find this cosy Neapolitan Italian restaurant on Dame Street. Their wood-fired pizza is authentic. All the pizzas are delicious and Bufalina is our favourite. Their tiramisu is out of the world. The Place is not huge, just enough to capture the Italian atmosphere. The service has always been friendly and polite. If it's sunny and warm, try to get a table outside and enjoy the buzz. Advanced booking is recommended.

74 Dame St, Temple Bar, Dublin

Coke Lane Pizza @ Lucky's

Neapolitan by Nature, Dublin by Design

This hidden treasure is located in Lucky's beer garden. It's a great spot for quick and casual bites. The wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas are prepared and served fresh from a converted container. The pizzas are delicious, soft and crispy at the same time. Locard pizza is my go-to. Make sure to get the Lemon Aioli dip to accompany your order. The pizza goes nicely with the draught pints from Lucky's.

78 Meath St, The Liberties, Dublin

Manifesto

Award-winning pizzas

Located in the heart of vibrant Rathmines, Manifesto is one of the best pizza spots in Dublin. When you walk into the restaurant, you will feel like you have stepped into a restaurant in Italy. Pizzas are delicious, and the base is light and fluffy with crispness underneath. We always opt for the Mamy pizza- it is always delicious. The atmosphere is warm and intimate, and the staff are friendly. Manifesto’s pizzas have won gold medals at the Pizza World Championships.
